How is L-Glutathione handled and stored?
Sealed vials are stored at -20°C away from light and keep for 24 months. To reconstitute, add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall of the vial and swirl until clear; never shake. Is this reduced or oxidised glutathione?
Reduced (GSH). The oxidised dimer (GSSG) is a different compound and most protocols are explicit about which they need.
How stable is it in solution?
Reduced glutathione oxidises readily in air. Prepare fresh where the redox state matters and record the interval in your methods.
Is L-Glutathione for human use?
