Dissolving strips for research

Thin polymer films carrying a measured load of active, designed to disintegrate on contact with moisture. The format removes reconstitution and measurement from the workflow entirely — and fixes the quantity per strip, which is the reason it suits some designs and not others.

Dissolving Strips products

What is a dissolving film?

A thin, flexible polymer strip loaded with an active compound, engineered to disintegrate rapidly on contact with moisture. The polymer matrix holds the load evenly so each strip carries the same nominal content.

When is a strip the wrong format?

Whenever you need a concentration series. The quantity per strip is fixed at manufacture, so a dose-response design is far better served by a vial, a diluent and a syringe. Strips suit fixed-quantity work where consistency between units matters more than adjustability.

How should film strips be stored?

Sealed, dry and at room temperature. Films are hygroscopic by design — that responsiveness to moisture is what makes them dissolve — so a pack left open will absorb atmospheric water. A strip that feels tacky has already done so.

Common questions about dissolving strips

How many strips are in a pack?

Thirty for the single-compound packs and twenty for the combined Selank and Semax strip. Each product page states the count.

Are the strips tested like the vials?

Yes. Third-party tested with a certificate published per lot.

Are these for human use?

No. Sold for in-vitro laboratory research only.

Every product in this category is sold for in-vitro laboratory research only and is not for human or animal consumption, diagnostic or therapeutic use.
