What is the difference between a single, dual and triple agonist?
PEP-SMG-1 is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. PEP-TZP-2 is a dual agonist at GIP and GLP-1. PEP-RTA-3 adds glucagon receptor activity to both, which is why it is described as a triple agonist. Each additional receptor changes what a model can attribute an effect to, so the comparison between them is the point of most study designs.
Why is PEP-CAG-A studied alongside these?
