What is BPC-157?
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide, 15 amino acids long, derived from a protein sequence found in gastric juice. It is studied for its effects on tissue repair: tendon and ligament healing models, gut-lining integrity, angiogenesis and cell migration assays. Pepstral supplies BPC-157 as a lyophilized powder, 5 mg net peptide per vial, with the certificate for the current lot published before the vial appears in the catalog.

What is BPC-157 studied for?
- Tendon, ligament and muscle repair models
- Gut-lining integrity and inflammatory-bowel models
- Angiogenesis and endothelial cell migration assays
- Wound-closure and fibroblast studies
All applications above are in-vitro or preclinical research contexts. BPC-157 is sold for laboratory research only and is not for human or animal use.
What does the certificate for lot BP-2609-D show?
Every lot of BPC-157 is tested by an independent US laboratory before it is listed. The report for lot BP-2609-D is in the COA library and the lot number printed on the vial matches it. The current results:
| Test | Method | Lot BP-2609-D result |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | LC-MS | Matches the calculated mass for the sequence |
| Purity | HPLC-UV, 220 nm | 99.7% |
| Net peptide content | Amino acid analysis | Stated per vial on the certificate |
| Endotoxin | LAL, chromogenic | < 0.5 EU/mg |
| Sterility | USP <71> | Pass |
How is BPC-157 handled and stored?
Sealed vials are stored at -20°C away from light and keep for 24 months. To reconstitute, add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall of the vial and swirl until clear; never shake. Once in solution, keep at 2 to 8°C and use within the 28-day window on the certificate. The reconstitution guide covers volumes and syringe units and the concentration table gives the numbers for this vial.
Frequently asked questions
Is BPC-157 the acetate or the arginate salt form?
The acetate form. The certificate lists the counter-ion, and the net peptide content on the label already excludes it.
What purity did lot BP-2609-D test at?
99.7% by HPLC-UV, the highest of the current catalog. Identity is confirmed by LC-MS and endotoxin is below 0.5 EU per mg.
Can BPC-157 be ordered together with TB-500?
Yes. The Repair pair bundle ships both as separate lot-matched vials, each with its own certificate, and the co-lyophilized blend is listed separately.
Is BPC-157 for human use?
No. Every product on this site is sold for in-vitro laboratory research only and is not for human or animal consumption, diagnostic or therapeutic use.
