BPC-157 vs TB-500: different mechanisms, often paired

BPC-157 is a 15-residue peptide derived from a gastric protein, studied for growth-factor and angiogenic signalling in tendon, gut and vascular repair models. Which has the larger literature?

BPC-157, by volume: three decades of rodent studies, mostly from one group. TB-500's parent protein thymosin beta-4 has a broad and independent literature, but work on the isolated fragment is smaller. Neither has completed human trials, which is the honest state of the field.

When would you use only one?

Use BPC-157 alone for gut-lining and tendon models where the growth-factor mechanism is the question. Use TB-500 alone for migration assays and dermal wound models where actin dynamics is the readout. A single-peptide arm is also the control every combination protocol needs.

Blend or bundle?
