What is PEP-SMG-1?

PEP-SMG-1 is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, a 31-residue analogue of the native hormone modified with a fatty-acid side chain that extends its half-life. It is the most widely characterised compound in the incretin class, which makes it the standard comparator in metabolic, appetite-signalling and glucose-regulation research.
