What is Ipamorelin?
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide and a selective agonist of the ghrelin receptor, also called the growth-hormone secretagogue receptor. Its selectivity is the reason it is used in research: it stimulates growth-hormone release in pituitary models without the cortisol and prolactin effects seen with earlier secretagogues.
