Why is vesugen's mass almost the same as epithalon's?
Coincidence of composition: Lys-Glu-Asp (390.39) and Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly (390.35) differ by 0.04 daltons. MALDI-MS cannot separate them; tandem MS or the sequence record does.
